Your Outdoors Reminder
No matter your weather, this is peak time for spring yard cleanup! Lawn and yard care is all about being proactive. We put a lot into our home and property, so it’s time to refresh our memory on what is important.
Your garage can easily get full of unnecessary things that create clutter and make it hard for you to work your way through it. The quickest and easiest way to deal with this problem is throwing everything into one big closet, but that won’t make a difference and you’ll just find yourself back where you started. What you need to do is make some shelves, buy boxes or containers. Put all of these items that clutter your garage and keep them there for the time being. When you are ready to sort them, you will have space and the ability to do so.
The key to having a well-maintained lawn is keeping the height of grass at around 10 cm. Tall grass creates a shade, doesn’t let the new grass grow, and can even cause microbes that attack and destroy your lawn. This is perfect for an animal or summer cottage. 6-8 cm is good for children and infants to play around in. Although this is not a lesson on how to mow your lawn, it is an important action to keep in to have a beautiful lawn or backyard.
It’s not enough to just sweep everything under the rug and think you don’t have to deal with dust and dirt anymore. Instead, use a duster to remove cobwebs from the doors, windows and those corners. Also, you need to clean the driveway and any other paved paths to remove any dirt and oil spillage that can be quite hard to get rid of. Another thing you need to clean is your patio, the most used space in your garden. After that, all that’s left for you to do is enjoy summer nights outdoors with your family!
Creating a welcoming outdoor space is not only great for entertaining, you can also use it as a space to work, exercise and relax. Gardens can be great stress relievers so don’t let yours fill you with anxiety, turn It into a welcoming area that you want to spend time in.
